The Café
Café De Koningshut has been a traditional Amsterdam pub since 1954, located at Spuistraat 269. Thanks to its founders and their southern background, it quickly became a well-visited café by Amsterdammers of old. Since then, “De Hut” has known many faces, but it never changed its essence of being a home for and by locals. A café with love for beer, jenever, wine, great food and that typical Amsterdam pub culture.

Food and Drinks
We serve 15 draft beers, from which 10 are specialty beers. In addition we serve bottled beers and a very rich assortment of wines and spirituous beverages. From all the jenevers from Van Wees to a wide range of whiskeys. You can also order a warm daily dish and, if you prefer something small, we can offer you all kinds of bitterballen and local cheese.
